Computer Network Supervisor and Technician, CDR Radio Network - Advancement Division
This is a full-time, exempt position that reports to the Chief Engineer. The purpose of this position is to support the computer operations of the CDR radio Network, and to assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining the broadcast facilities, equipment, and technical operation. Essential functions of this position include assisting in the maintainence of broadcast facilities, research and recommendation of means to improve computer and technical operations, and understanding and assisting in the responsibilities of the Chief Operator. Qualified applicant must have demonstrated knowledge of computer networking systems, ability to configure computer hardware and software for broadcast applications, board level diagnostic skills for radio frequency, analog and digital audio control and circuitry. Physical requirements include keen auditory and visual senses, ability to efficiently and skillfully use instruments, maneuver among equipment at Network sites, ability to travel to network sites and maintain a valid Ohio driver’s license.
